Job Description

S & T Window Films is a minority and veteran-owned small business based in Rochester, WA. We are currently expanding and are looking for a trained estimator to join our growing team.

As an estimator, you are a key member of our team and are responsible for estimating, reviewing bids, understanding Division 8 work, communicating with contractors, performing site visits when necessary, and being able to meet deadlines. One must accurately read bid sets, use TintPro software, and submit bids to the appropriate contacts while maintaining high levels of professionalism, displaying a strong work ethic, and showing quality attention to detail. We are willing to train the right candidate willing to learn.

 

What We’re Looking For

  • 1-2 years experience in construction estimating

  • Read, understand, and interpret construction documents and specifications

  • Learn and demonstrate an understanding of Division 8 glazing

  • Create and file electronic documents

  • Prepare detailed quotes for bids using estimating software (TintPro)

  • Confident, friendly, and interpersonal communication via phone and email

  • Demonstrate prompt follow-up on current/pending quotes and report status

  • Strong verbal and written communication, and math skills
