HOW IT WORKS
DefenseLite’s polycarbonate security panels are applied directly onto your existing frames. It uses vented aluminum extrusions that create distance between your primary window/door glass and the security panel. When attacked, the DefenseLite’s security glazing flexes, absorbs, and deflects the kinetic energy from the impact— keeping the bad guys outside and away from your valuables. In the majority of cases, after installing the security panel, the primary glass does not break— and the criminal flees the scene. DefenseLite’s patent pending vented extrusion system also prevents condensation build up by allowing air movement, which prevents costly and unsightly moisture problems.
